Experience making local oshizushi at Jonohama on the Beach Cafe
At this beach cafe located in the beautiful "Jonohama" in Kihoku Town, you can experience making traditional oshizushi. In this experiential tourism content, you will make oshizushi using a Kii cypress box, learning from a local grandmother. You can taste the fresh oshizushi on the spot and take the wooden box home as a souvenir.
In addition to fresh fish caught in the local sea, you can also enjoy freshly picked shiitake mushrooms with the cooperation of local Kato Shiitake. By tasting the shiitake mushrooms you harvested yourself on the spot, you can experience the freshness and deliciousness of local ingredients.
